A new berth will be built in the port of Mykolaiv
The Seaport Administration of Ukraine has issued a tender for the construction of a new berth in the seaport of Mykolaiv. Prozorro electronic public procurement system has already published the decision of the Seaport Administration of Ukraine on their intention to launch the relevant construction works and open the berth No. 8.
According to the existing data, the berth will have 220.66 m in length, and the depth near the berth wall will be 10.5 m with a view to increasing the depth to 13 m. “The new berth means new opportunities and new projects necessary for the further development of Mykolaiv port and the region in general,” says Raivis Veckagans, head of the Seaport Administration of Ukraine.
At the moment, the estimated cost of the works performed is UAH 317 million. Companies, residents and non-residents of Ukraine are eligible to participate in the tender. The deadline for submitting documents is November 20, 2017.
